Forgive me if my question shows a lack of knowledge, this is outside my usual territory. What documents must be present in an IRA file? Plan agreement (IRS form 5305); plain language disclosure (IRS pub 590); and a financial projection. Anything else?

Also as a tack-on question: Are there documents upon which an original must be retained, or would a readily-producable imaged copy always be adequate?

•An application,
•A plain-language disclosure of the basic IRA rules, and
•A financial disclosure of the potential future value of the new IRA
