What do you think fair is?
We've heard from both sides about fairness / being fair.
Republicans feel that the MSM is not being fair with them.
Democrates do not feel that the rich are paying their fair share of taxes.
What do you think fair is? In all areas of life.
Having a loving spouse?
Having a good job?
Having a government that cares for you?
Having a government that lets you care for yourself?
What do you think?

Life will not be fair until I am driving a Lamborghini Gallardo...that was bought by my trophy wife...who owns a beer distributorship...who is a nymphomaniac for her husband...who suffers from insomnia...is a great cook...who loves to play soccer...and doesn't mind me going to England and Europe several times a year to watch soccer matches...and let's me take her company jet there...and will come with me if she feels like it...but will also let it be a boys only trip...
then, life will be fair

Well, I wasn't referencing any politician, although if I had to marry one of those 2 women, I'd go beer over ketchup any day...the question was what was fair, and I was just dreaming...no thoughts of politics at all...

No one ever promised fair.
I am sick of hearing the left complain about life not being fair. It is not fair that he makes more money than I do. It is not fair that he can buy a house and I cannot. It is not fair that he can pay his credit card bills and I cannot. It is not fair that he gets a tax refund and I don't. It is not fair that he saved for his own retirement and I did not.
I was sickened to see the news last night and hear Henry Waxman ask the gentleman from Lehman Bros. if he thought it was fair that he made millions while his company failed. Heck yes it was fair. It was a compensation agremment negotiated in good faith and agreed to by two parties.
This is not the Socialist Republic of America.
All we are guaranteed is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (there is no guarantee that you'll find happiness, you're only entitled to pursue it).
Sorry to rant.
