Please send prayers/good thoughts/etc. to my little town and the people in northeastern NM. A wildfire started north of town yesterday, and since jumped the interstate and is threatening several homes. The fire has already burned an estimated 2700 acres. Actually seeing flames on top of the mountain near my home and air tankers flying above was really surreal. Winds are expected today at 40 mph and the smoke is unbelievable. This is the sort of thing you see in the news all the time, never expecting it could be your town, and here it is happening. Please keep us in prayer.

My kids and grandkids live in NM. I know its a big state, but its a connection non the less. They have been under smoke and air qulaity alerts from the fires for weeks.
So my prayers for you, your town and all those affected. May God keep you and watch over you and bring your town and others safely though this horrible event! Amen
