A new customer has just moved from Michigan and is opening an account with us. The CSR says the Michigan driver's license does not have an issue date. Is this correct? I thought all licenses had issues dates on them.

Thanks for the info.

The information states "The issue date now appears on the front of the new cards."

Does that mean that it wasn't there before but "now" will be or that "now" it will be on the front as it has instead been on the back?

"Mitten" state
I am from Michigan and just renewed my license in December, it does have the issue date. It appears the issue date was added March 2011. Take a look at this link:
