Mini Chicken Pot Pies
1 tube of biscuits
1 cup cooked chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cup of thawed mixed veggies

Mix chicken, soup, and veggies in bowl ( I also add some veleeta).

Roll out buscuits into about 5 in circle and press into greased muffin tin. Press firmly against bottom and sides. Put soup mixture into the tin and fold over the top.

Bake 350 for 20-25 mins or until biscuits are golden brown on top.

Tried this one yesterday evening (didn't even stop at the store, had all the stuff). This recipe is great!!! Thanks ahkcompliance.

Crockpot Pulled Pork

Put pork roast (or loin) in crock pot. Sprinkle on some spices that sound good to you like salt, pepper, garlic, Montreal Steak Seasoning, cover with Beef Broth or Dr Pepper or Root Beer or Coke. Cook all day. Drain. Shred meat. Add BBQ sauce.

MMMmmmm good. This makes a pretty tasty pulled pork sandwich.

Slow Cooker Taco Meat

Get a beef roast or use chicken breasts. Put in crock pot and add Mexican stuff like taco seasoning. I add a can of green chilis and can of enchilada sauce and lots of cumin and some oregano and garlic. Add beef broth to cover roast. Cook all day, drain, shred meat and use in place of hamburger taco meat. We use this for tacos or taco salads. I like the taste of cumin and add at least 3 tablespoons if not more and only 1 1/2 oregano and 1 1/2 garlic powder.

Mmmmmm good and tasty. Easy.

Similar to above
Crockpot Carnitas
Sear pork roast in skillet then transfer to crockpot. Add 1 jar of salsa verde and 1 can RoTel. Cook all day. Shred the pork. Serve with corn tortillas, cilantro and a squeeze of lime. So yummy! If you like a little heat, add some chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Good stuff

BISCUIT PIZZAS
- Canned biscuits (Pillsbury Grands make a nice size)
- Jar of pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce or tomato sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese or your favorite cheese, shredded
- Pepperoni, diced onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, sliced olives, or any other toppings you like

Pre-heat oven according to biscuit package instructions. (typically 375 degrees)
Flatten out each biscuit and place on a cookie sheet.
Using a teaspoon, place sauce on top of each pizza.
Cover each pizza with cheese and add toppings… or add toppings first and put the cheese on top.
Bake until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted – approx 15-20 minutes.

YouTube has several videos to reference - look under Biscuit Pizzas or Mini Pizzas - such as this one from Pillsbury: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkAcW8RkBhE

Everyone can make their own. laugh

It's almost cook-out time......Here's an easy home-made Hot Dog Chili Recipe

3 lbs hamburger meat
1 medium onion, finely chopped
35 - 40 oz condensed tomato soup (yes...soup)
chili powder
garlic powder (optional)

Brown the hamburger meat with the diced onion, rinse. Add meat and onions to the tomato soup (do not add the water, leave it condensed). Add chili powder and garlic powder to taste. Simmer over medium-low heat until desired thickness (about 1 1/2 - 2 hours).

STIR OFTEN.....IT WILL STICK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE POT IF YOU DON'T!!!

Frito Salad

1 family sized bag of shredded lettuce
1 pkg of taco seasoning
1 can dark red kidney beans (rinsed and drained well)
1 can black beans (rinsed and drained well)
1 red onion (chopped - use as much as you like)
1 bag of taco/Mexican flavored cheese
1 bag of corn chips (crunched up while in the bag)
1 bottle of Catalina salad dressing (don’t use low/no- fat; regular sized bottle)

Mix all ingredients well, RIGHT before serving. I generally use about ¾ of the bottle of salad dressing – any more than that makes it a bit soggy.

*This recipe makes a huge bowl of salad – I sometimes make it the meal. I have never met anyone that doesn’t love this salad. Yum!

I call this one "Food"

Take various select food items, mix a cook as desired.

Eat

OK OK

Tuna-Mato

Make one pack Kraft Mac and Cheese as normal. Add can of drained tuna and can of tomato sauce.

Enjoy

(My aunt taught me to make that while I was in collage and it has remained a favorite since.) Is great with a few salty chips

Two slices of bread, load them with baked beans, put a slice of cheese on top then cook in a toaster oven until bread is toasted, beans are cooked and cheese is melted.

This requires a knife and fork. Too messy for a sandwich.

1 small can chopped green chilies

I have done this recipe before VERY GOOD! Last time I made the mistake of accidently grabbing sweetened condensed milk... took a bite... bleh ruined me for a while on it. I will pay attention next time!

Box of macaroni and cheese, prepared
Add:
can of tuna fish, drained
can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup lightly cooked peas (so they're not mushy)
chopped onion to taste, if desired.

Put in a casserole dish and cook at 350 degrees until heated through.

You can put buttered bread crumbs on top before baking.

We've been making this for years. I skip the peas (because I hate peas, but my wife will sometimes add canned peas to her portion. We've even gotten to where we skip the baking, and once we mix in the tuna and soup and milk with the mac & cheese, just keep heating on the stove on medium high heat stirring regularly until it's heated through - generally about 3-4 minutes.

We do something similar, but also add a pound of browned ground beef (allow it to cool some before putting in the salad and it won't wilt the lettuce right away).

I make the BEST homemade teriyaki sauce. The premade stuff from the store is so sticky and sweet and not authentic. If that's what you like, continue to buy the store-bought brand because you couldn't handle this.

5 parts Kikkoman Soy Sauce
5 parts Mirin or Dry Sherry
3 parts sugar
3 parts rice wine vinegar
1 part ground ginger

1 tablespoon ground ginger = 2inch piece of ginger grated. I prefer fresh, but it's not always possible.

This sauce should be used as a marinade, because the fat from the meat will enhance the flavor tremendously.

Pepperoni Loaf

1 can of pizza dough
1 egg
½- ¾ cup Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Package of Pepperoni

Unroll the pizza dough on cookie sheet. Beat egg, add Parmesan cheese until it forms a thick paste. Spread egg mixture over pizza dough. Cover with pepperonis and then mozzarella cheese. Roll up and cut a few slits in the top of the pizza dough. Bake about 14-17 minutes at 350 or until golden brown.
Can be served with marinara sauce.
