1 in 4 credit bureau reports has errors contends one survey. Potentially one-sided, this information still needs to be considered the next time you review a customers track record.

But my point is this is why you need to tell them something is wrong and how to fix it. It may not be theirs.

I wonder if the high rate of errors include incompleteness or omissions; specifically, how much undereporting of late or nonpayment goes on ? Complete reports might significantly increase the 1 in 4.
