The bank has always had these custom signs on the drive-up units stating transaction cut-off times, what won't be done at a drive-up windows and the FDIC sign. The bank is making changes and will be replacing the drive-ups with ITM units. In preparing for this they are making changes to the signage. One thing they want to do is remove the signs they have been using and just place one at the first drive-up lane which would be placed inside the building in the window. I'm trying to decide if the FDIC sign needs to be at each drive-up unit or is just the first window sufficient? There is a custom sign going on the ITMs which will have the FDIC sign. We are changing our cut-off time to be later, therefore we need to determine if we really need the FDIC sign on every drive-up unit or not. Your thoughts?

§ 328.2 Display and procurement of official sign.
(a) Display of official sign. Each insured depository institution shall continuously display the official sign at each station or window where insured deposits are usually and normally received in the depository institution's principal place of business and in all its branches.
(1) Other locations--
(i) Within the institution. In addition to locations where display of the official sign is required under this § 328.2(a), an insured depository institution may display the official sign in other locations at the institution.

I thought I read somewhere (maybe a BOL thread?) that as long as the sign could be seen from any of the drive-up lanes, one sign in the main drive-up window was compliant.
