Does your bank allow for customers to put their own photos (of family, vacations, whatever) on debit cards? Looking at an instant issue vendor that says they won't do it because the images would have to be vetted for copyright or trademarks. Vendor gave the example of if the customer is wearing a polo shirt with a logo on it, for example, there would be copyright/trademark problems. This doesn't compute with me. Any insight?

We did several years ago but didn't have it long because the demand was ridiculously low, no one wanted to pay for it.

I have never worked at an institution that offered the service. My current institution issues cards from the branch so there is no waiting, so the service doesn't really fit with our model. Even other institutions that I am familiar with that have a vendor mail cards have always wanted to maintain the look of the cards for marketing purposes so it wasn't viewed as beneficial to offer.

Worked for a bank that did this, and the images had to be approved as well for the same reasons.
