What address is everyone using on their ChexSystems denial notices?

7805 Hudson Road, Suite 100
Woodbury MN 55125

or

P.O. Box 583399
Minneapolis, MN 55458

The person that manages our relationship recently left the bank and I need to know which address is correct. The POB is used on their website.

We use the 7805 Hudson Road, Suite 100 address. This was the address used on the "sample" notices that our vendor provided to us to use for denials.

Our notices also have the Hudson Road address and I was wondering why it wasn't the same as the website. In addition, our notices are dated 2013, so I thought they may be outdated.

Looks like the Hudson Road address is correct. It is noted on the CFPB's website:

This is on the CFPB's website, so the Hudson Road address is likely ok.

True, but that only specifically says that is the address to order a copy of your credit report and it does not say to use that address to file a dispute.

You know, the ol' telephone might come in handy and maybe someone should just pick up the phone and call ChexSystems and ask them.

When I contacted FIS a couple of years ago about updated adverse action notices, they sent me multiple sample copies that we could use and "make our own". All of these sample copies had the Hudson Road address. I would think if this is the address provided by the vendor, then it would be the address (or one of the addresses) that should be used.

Agree Randy. The vendor owner recently left the bank. I have asked our vendor manager to provide me with a copy of the agreement to find contact information so that I can call. Everyone I have asked outside of this forum is using the Hudson Rd address so far. I'll report back next week.

I received an FIS Global Marketing and Communications eBulletin on 8/3/2022 that states:

New Address for Consumer Relations

ChexSystems Consumer Relations is responsible for handling consumer file disclosure requests, disputes, reinvestigations and other consumer facing activities required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You must take the necessary actions to update this address on Adverse Action Notices to ensure that consumers are provided up to date information on how to contact ChexSystems to take advantage of their rights under the FCRA.

Effective immediately, ChexSystems Consumer Relations contact information is as follows:

The new address is:

ChexSystems consumer facing website has not changed and is the preferred method of consumer contact. However, examples of communications that may be mailed to ChexSystems include consumer requests for disclosure, and consumer disputes. Please note that ChexSystems client facing documents have been revised and in order to ensure your ongoing compliance with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) as a User of a Consumer Report (i.e., QualiFile), your Adverse Action Notices MUST BE updated to reflect the new address.

Thanks TryingtoComply for the information! I had contacted them also about the address change, which they provided, but they did not mention the eBullitin! I'm positive nobody here was signed up to receive it. Now we are! smile
