I understand the who "rebel tatoo" thing, but what is going to happen to these tattoos when you're about 60?
Man, that is just not a pretty picture. When their tramp stamps become directional signs?

Man, that is just not a pretty picture. I think about that too, especially the ones with all the holes in their ears, nose, etc.

FWIW - I agree with MB. How do you know that in 20 years you'll still like them? Obviously, getting a tattoo is a personal choice and no one can tell you whether you should or not.
I guess I'm old and I just don't 'get' it, although my husband got his at 50 and has never regretted it. Of course since it's on his calf most people would have no idea he has one. My step-daughter had 3 by the time she was 21. At almost 24 now she regrets getting them.

LOL, defensive much?
I was just stating that many people, maybe not you, or maybe you, regret their tattoos later in life.
That is all I was saying.

I got the best b-day card from my aunt. It's two old men sitting on rockers on a front porch. As one of the guys hold his arm up for the other, other guy is saying, "A heart? An eagle? A mermaid?
The caption: In 2055, retirement village residents play a game of "Guess what the tattoo used to be!"

^^^^ ^^^ I don't know Beth- I think if I get a wrist one - they'll think I have a bracelet on. My tat on my foot shows most of the time with the shoes I wear. On a really thoughtful note- My daughter has stars on both sides of her hips going up- I don't know how many but all I'm thinking about is when she is older and is with baby - those stars aren't going to look so pretty.

Kind of like the roses well endowed women put on their chests. Some day they'll be a long stemmed rose.

I saw a young woman with a large sunshine around her belly button once. Picture that one after a couple of pregnancies.

My sisters' neighbor - one of the nicest guy's I've ever meant- he is 82 and he has a pic of his dog on his arm - his dog is his life and Duke is 12 years old and is moving slowly- cattle dog- the prettiest dog - I love to pet him and play with him- anyhow he is going to get the pic retouched - and like I said the guy is 82 and the tat still looks good. ^^^^^ Gets my vote for longest run-on sentence in the cooler, lol.

She doesn't need anymore. She's suppose to be saving for school.
