Here. It is so dead, they didn't even turn the lights on in all the areas and hallways. Doors are locked. Only one other person on my floor. cool! y'all should each get at one end of the floor and play catch with the football! Seriously regretting that I did not bring in my putter and some golf balls. Then I could honestly say to my boss, I just putted around today.

but count me out if you are bringing those people with you!! I'll be seeing you soon, Pa! But who are "those people" of whom you speak? BTW, we're planning on going to Cedar Point this year and organizing something with the family. I'm hoping to get a group discount rate at the hotel there.

Goodnight Chris! Those coasters are the real deal up there!
The hotel we stayed at last time visiting Cedar Point had a suite deal so the family was able to split between the men and women folk.... that woodie rattled my bones and the disaster destination or whatever it is named skeeered me good!

Cedar Point is awesome. Stay at the Hotel Breakers. Then you can come and go at the park whenever you please plus you get in an hour ealy in the morning to ride the best coasters. Don't miss any of the coasters. They are all awesome even the old time Blue Streak. My favorite is the Rapture even though it is not the newest. You go upside down with your feet dangling down.

Pa, was that the Gemini, Blue Streak or the Mean Streak woodie on which you were riding? And Disaster Transport is okay, but nothing like Millennium which is the best of the best!! I love them all. Ms. Spring, I also like the Mantis. It's also good to start at the back of any park--we did that @ Six Flags over Texas.

I am guessing it was the Mean Streak, not the older Blue....

The mean streak beat me up. I felt like I had gone 8 rounds with Mike Tyson pounding on my kidneys. Agree with the Hotel Breakers, that's what we did and it was good to get the 1hr jump on the rest of the people.

Is this a thread hijack? They have somehow slowed the Mean Streak down a little. It was actually injuring people the first year it was in existence. Have you ridden the Millenium Force in the front seat? It actually looks like you are going back under yourself. Scary!!!!
If you stay at the Breakers you start at the back of the park. We buy the two-day pass with the access to the park and the water park and take a break from the heat in the afternoon.
