Audio: Finished "Making of a Chef" and have started Brian Selznick's "Invention of Hugo Cabret". I do intend to read that one in print format as well, as I understand there are tons of sketches / illustrations that are integral to the story.

I havn't decided if i'm downloading this or not, but thought my fellow kindle owners might get a kick out of it- Currently downloadable for free: Thriller Box Set

Five Top 20 bestselling Kindle writers—J.A. Konrath, Blake Crouch, J. Carson Black, Lee Goldberg, and Scott Nicholson—were asked to choose their favorite novel to include in a groundbreaking box set, which is bursting with chills, thrills, laughs, scares, and hours of page-turning, thrill-a-minute reading pleasure.

If thrillers are your passion, this is a must-have for your Kindle Library.

CONTENTS:

Origin by J.A. Konrath
Desert Places by Blake Crouch
Darkness on the Edge of Town by J. Carson Black
Watch Me Die by Lee Goldberg
Disintegration by Scott Nicholson

For those of you readers who are Kindle owners, have you signed up for Amazon Prime? If so, do you think it's worth what you're paying for it?

I have Amazon Prime. More for what I purchase other than Kindle books, though. I have found it to be more than worth it.

Plus can you get Amazon TV on the Kindle Fire? (I don't have one, but I think I heard that somewhere). And as a Prime member, most things are free.

Not a Kindle owner but I looooooove Prime. Nothing like ordering something on Monday AM and having it arrive Tuesday afternoon.

I loved prime when i had it (free trial) just can't decide if it's worth actually paying for it. I didn't order that much- Maybe only once a month, if that except at christmas.

You should look into splitting a Prime membership. I share mine with my parents and my sister. Costs less and we all benefit.

OK I don't think I would recommend "Invention of Hugo Cabret." What an odd story, and there are no characters who you really sympathize with. None of them are very nice.

I actually signed up for the trial membership, but was thinking about it more for Amazon TV than for the expedited shipping. It seems like most of what is "free" is the same stuff available on Netflix.

Taken's on my desk, but haven't gotten there yet. I'm almost finished with the Harry Dresden series, and Robert Crais is always a favorite, so it will probably be next.

Currently reading "Side Jobs" by Jim Butcher. Audio - think I'll start "Moby Duck" by Donovan Hohn next.
