I read in the rules that banks that allow customers to originate ACH files are required to provide them up to date copies of the rules. We only have a handful, but I'm wondering what is the most efficient way to achieve this. Or maybe I misread and this isn't required at all.
suggestions on how other small FI's are handling this is appreciated
thanks

When we train new originators, or discuss anything rule related with them, we direct them to the online rule book and make sure they get/are signed up. Once a year, we send out a letter to all originators saying that we can order them a disc or hard copy for $X (cost I beleive) and they need to let us know by Y date. No one ever asks for one.

We used to send an annual letter with the website link of where to find the rules and restate it's their responsibility to know them. That was always sufficient.

Annually, we provide a code for an electronic version they download and charge them for it.
