I just love this show more and more every episode. In the beginning I assumed something Chuck did would push Jimmy to Saul and now I can really see Saul emerging.

As always Mike proves how bad@$$ he really is. I told my hubby last night I'd be like the pharmacist if I ever did a drug deal! LOL

Can't wait for next week.

Of course we have to remember that the creators of this show brought us Breaking Bad, so just when you think you know what's going to happen, the show may just go the other direction.

Well, what did everyone think? Some interesting events that lead up to Saul.

I think that it was a pretty cool twist. To me it seemed that it wasn't necessarily Chuck that turned him into Saul. It also wasn't because that was his only choice. The decision to become Saul was a conscious choice that he made - whether it was because he felt that's who he truly is or because he feels life is to short to try to be someone you're not. Can't wait until next season!

I caught up on finale last night, I was a tad disappointed. I thought it was a little "lame" compared to all of the other episodes. I was expecting more "bang" for the finale. And LOL about Kevin Costner!! Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for season 2.

I agree with you PQ. I was a little disappointed too. But reading what TJ said about Jimmy making a conscious choice to become Saul made me think a little more about the episode. That is very true. And I was also happy that Chuck wasn't the one who turned Jimmy into Saul.

Did Saul wear the pinkie ring all through BB? I can't remember now but it does seem to look familiar.

I wonder who the other girl thought Marco was?? Brad Pitt??? I'm pretty sure getting that drunk is impossible!

I don't think any one person is going to cause Jimmy to become Saul. It's going to be a combination of people/events.

I think that Jimmy was trying to be good in order to gain the approval of Chuck and others that were important to him. I think that when his friend passed away he came to a realization that he is a con-man and I think he stopped caring what others think of him. Of course the creators of this show may be throwing us a curve again too.

I think Mike's speech to that nerdy guy about "Good criminals and bad cops, bad priests and honorable thieves" was kind of a nice summary of the characters we've seen on both shows.

I find the Mike charachter very interesting too. And I like seeing the "evolution" of Jimmy/Saul. It finally hit me who his big con man friend that died was-Todd on the Last Man on Earth-which I also love!

I recognized the friend as being Todd on Last Man on Earth. His career is taking off.

Anyone watch last night? Slipping Jimmy!

DVR, I couldn't stay awake, was it good? Can't wait to watch it.

We're watching it on Netflix, so almost through the first season. Being behind all the time kind of stinks!
