Jim, a friend of mine just had his mother slip into a coma. With all the bad news for days, they prepared for the worse. His father was holding her hand, dejected but hopeful, when she gently squeezed, turned her head and opened her eyes. She looked at him and shed a tear. The next day, she was sitting up and talking. This happened last week and she is out of the hospital, with assistance, and getting back to normal.
She had a lot of support from people she didn't know, as does Lynne. Keep the faith, Jim. It sounds like Lynne is a fighter and you are by her side through every battle. That is how battles are won. Keep it up!

Just a quick update - Lynne has been doing pretty good yesterday and today and they have now moved her back out of ICU! Here's praying that she doesn't have to go back there again.

Lynne has lots of antibiotics in her system for infection, but as of late last night she was still out of ICU and, according to Jim, "doing pretty good."
I'm joining Jim's prayer that she doesn't end up back in ICU again.
