The Blitzkrieg Bop (title) reminds me of another song from this era:

Ballroom Blitz

That song rocks. I prefer, of course, the original version by the glam group Sweet (who also brought us "Love is like Oxygen"). But the Tia Carrere cover on the "Wayne's World" soundtrack isn't bad.

I didn't even know anyone had covered Ballroom Blitz - the Sweet version is the only one I've ever heard.

Also, Fox on the Run.

Aw, I had to cheat and look one of these up, so I believe the non-one-hit-wonder act was responsible for Number 4. If I've got this right, this song is by an English bloke who is still active today, although his songs are pretty lame now. Nothing like his classic '70s albums.

I believe you are talking about a song Elton John did in the 80s. This is not an Elton John song. This is the Leisure Suit Lounge, so all the songs are from the 1970s. I will give you a hint. The name of this band is also the name of a song by another English block who is still active today, although his songs are pretty lame now (and have been since the late 1970s) and are nothing like his early 1970's classic albums: Rod Stewart. So, think of the name of a popular Rod Stewart song from the late 70s and you have the name of this one hit wonder band.

10 Amos Moses -- Jerry Reed

Now Amos Moses was a Cajun
Lived by himself in the swamp
He hunted alla-gater for livin'
He just knock 'em in the head with a stump!
