We placed a large dollar exception hold on a $50,000 check.
The check was split in half and deposited into 2 different accounts. How do we deal with the availability of the funds in each account???

Do we split the $100 and the $4900 availability?

Make it easy on yourself. It doesn't matter how you divide the holds as long as the customer has the appropriate availability to the funds ($100, $4900, $45,000). I would probably ask the customer if he/she has a preference.
