Does anyone know how long banks must keep savings deposits/withdrawal receipts? We are a bank in Oklahoma.
We image everything so I feel we should be able to shred immediately, but I wanted to check with other banks to make sure.

I am in NY and our retention schedule is 5 years for deposits and withdrawals. Check with your state to ensure that it is similar.

In the Oklahoma banking code, it states 7 years, however, since we image everything, is this still neccessary?
