I agree!! These threads are great!!!! I'm learning so much.

Question for the group about Arbonne...

I found the site online, and I'm tempted to contact a consultant, but how pushy are they? I had to flee Avon and Mary Kay because I couldn't get away from the consultant. She expected me to order every catalog!! If the lipstick is as good as you all are implying - and no, I won't hold you to it if they are not - I think I would like to try it. What have your experiences been like?

The makeup threads are the only ones we can post in without some heated discussion and heavy moderation. At least for now! LOL!!

I've been using original Indian Earth for years.

And during the summer, it is absolutley the best to accentuate a tan.. or even make it look as though you have one if you don't...

It's so flexible - the more you use, the darker ... for face, lips, even nails.

**Be prepared though, if you use this with a tan, the compliments will come often!

Other times: For quick touch-ups, I use a twist up cream lip pencil/liner.

If anyone is interested in trying Arbonne or finding out more about the products, please feel free to PM me. I promise I am not pushy, but I have been a consultant for Arbonne for over 2 years now.

Eyes Lips Face (elf) has a nice tube of gloss that has a nice soft brush and costs like a buck... I like most of their brownish-pink shades, and the cheap factor makes me not upset if I pick up a shade that's too brown or too pink!

They have a great website that sells all kinds of cheap but nice makeup, but my local drugstore has only their lipglosses/lipsticks, so that's all I've tried.

Good Grief! I need to get out more, I guess. I haven't heard of ELF either!!! Cheap is good - especially when you want to try a new shade of something.

We are not pushy. Once you try the products, they pretty much sell themselves. We are not that much into retail as we are helping the other person help themselves. For an initial $29 fee and an annual $15 fee, you can order for yourself and never have to sell it retail if you don't want to. But you will find yourself telling others about the product because you believe in it so. My future daughter-in-law is Vegan (vegetarian) and doesn't like to use things that aren't natural and she loves the products. The thing to do is check the ingredients list of the items you buy in the drugstores or from other companies. I was amazed at the company that used a lot of Mineral Oil and another very popular company that used Human Fetal Extract in theirs. UGH! Those are things they don't want you to know.

Does anyone else use Indian Earth? I am a brunette, and tan easily, this stuff looks like it will work for me...

Further South than I wanna be.
I use Arbonne facial cleansing products but didn't have luck with the makeup.

About two years ago my lips started breaking out every time I put lipstick on. Thy would dry up, blister and crack. I tried various brands and all but Allmay do it to me. I normally wear Burts Bees or another natural lip gloss and occassionaly the Almay when I am daring.

Have you tried the make-up since they came out with the mineral powder? My daughter swears by it.
