Washington originally was heard using the slur on the set. What happened at the Golden Globes was supposed to be him trying to deny it, which only made it worse.

Ok Grey's Airs Thursday, and I have been watching the trailers. Derrick does love Meredith, but does she have enough steam in her to put up with him? Someone is going to tell another someone that they love them back (possible George to Izzy). Seems like Bailey has alot of resentment for the new Cheif Resident, (like who can blame her), and seems as if Callie's personal life is getting in the way of her decisions. So Addison is off to her Private Practice, which is gonna be great I do believe. Oh yeah, exciting news thanks to spoilerfix.com Jane Doe/Ava/Rebecca will be coming back for interaction with Alex, but not until he and Meredith's sister start some sort of relationship up. That is all the good scoop that I have, I am just excited about the premiere. Have a great day.

Burke was chief resident, vying for chief of surgery.

Burke was chief resident, vying for chief of surgery. I don't think so. The resident is not normally a fully fledged surgeon. It's someone doing their residency. Burke was an attending surgeon.

I read an article from access hollywood about George. he is going to repeat his intern year, which may have been an obvious one. But, it also said that George was going to continuously make mistakes and be humiliated.

There was apparently no chief resident (at leasr appearing on the show-I'm sure they had one) before the end of last season...according to wikipedia.

Private Practice will be great, I believe, and I am with ya on not getting enough of Taye Diggs. It will be interesting to see our former interns now having to deal with interns of their own.

I thought the show was ok. I wasn't impressed. It will be a different year with our once interns being residents. George and Izzy should of been from the first, not after the fact that he was married. Mer & Der grr they just don't either one know what they want. So funny when McSteamy told McDreamy "I need you", then he said I done and said it, I can't take it back. Funny scene. The whole deer story I thought at first was stupid, and the deer looked so fake, but at the end I think it showed that Izzy is a different kind of doctor than the rest of them. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes.

I thought Grey's SUCKED. I was very disappointed. It was boring and did not hold any suspense. Who didnt know George loves Izzy? There was nothing that made me say "oh I cant wait to watch next week" Not a good start at all.

Anyone else think the George/Callie/Izzy triangle will turn into George/Izzy/Lexie? I think Lexie will be a good addition. Alwo think they need to end the Meridith/Derrick thing - it's very old and stale and boring.

I was NOT impressed with last night's episode...
None of the 'fun' was there, and Lexy's character is already kind of irritating. I think it will make for more drama between George and everyone else, because he'll start hanging out with her more than his old group of friends.
The 'Izzie saves a deer' thing was extremely irritating and stupid. Actually, every scene with her in it seemed 'off' last night.
Good to see Bailey back to her normal harda$$ self, though...

What about Callie? Last year she was a competent Orthopedic doc, now - she and the deer may have a lot in common - both roadkill. What are they going to do with her part when George breaks up with her, which should be pretty soon.

She could run back to McSteamy.
