We are discontinuing sending actual checks beginning this summer. Notices will be going out to the customers to this effect giving certain choices. I looked at our standard new account disclosures and, other than expanding the section dealing with costs for the account info available (i.e. statement only versus stmt and images), I don't see where I have to change any other standard disclosure. Is there any new one I have to add? We will allow customers to sign up for stmts through our web site but I am putting that disclosure 9E-sign Act) on the site. Thanks!

I am not aware of any regulatory disclosure requirements along these lines. Be careful, however, to read your entire account agreement to make sure it does not reference sending checks and don't forget about business customers who might have side agreements of some kind.
