When deemed a "bank officer", is there any documentation needing to be completed to make this an official title? I know that the legal responsibility of a Bank Officer goes beyond that of an employee but I am unclear as to how this all works.

Officers of any corporation must be appointed by the board of directors. As an officer, this person is empowered to commit the corporation by engaging in agreements, signing documents, etc. Banks have many pay grades and titles for officers.

An officer is appointed by the board of directors. Also, being an officer does not necessarily make a person qualify as "exempt" (some still have to complete time cards in our shop).
