In order to raise funds for a local charity can we ask employees to donate $10 and in return have their name in a drawing for a day off with pay? Does it make a difference that it is all done internal and no customers are involved.

I vote no. The bank can donate a prize but cannot participate in the sale of tickets.

We don't doing anything that involves getting money from customers but wondered if this was considered different since it was all internal.

I don't recall seeing any reference to customers vs. employees in the statutes.
