We have a military member that wants to ship his 2015 Dodge Ram Truck to an overseas military base (non-US soil).

He is requesting that we grant permission for him to do so. Is there anything special we need to be aware of or is this entirely a risk-based decision? For non-military members, we have historically denied the request (it doesn't happen often) because the loan basically becomes unsecured at that point.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,
JB

Agreeing to allow your collateral to leave the country is purely a business decision.
