Thinking about going to Vero beach, FL next November (early Nov.) anything you would like to recommend we look into...or avoid? How is the water that time of year?

In a pineapple under the sea
Avoid gen-u-ine imitation gator tail meat, people who say hey y'all watch this, stepping on peacocks, State Road 60 and US Highway 1 from 7am-12pm and from 1:30pm-7pm. Go to the beach, Bobby's restaurant on Hutchinson Island, the spas and outlets. Early November won't be too bad, water temp will be around 70 or so. Not much excitement in Vero, but we are all anxiously awaiting the start of the Frog Leg Festival this weekend!

Hey Life of Riley - thanks for the tips. That festival sounds like it is right up there with our ice carnival - although it looks pretty iffy for ice these days.

Early Nov. the water temp could be about 60 degrees. Since hurricane season is June through November, there's always a chance for a late season storm. There is talk here, on the other side of the state, that, if we don't get some winter here soon, the waters will not cool down enough, and will fuel big storms this next hurricane season. I hope they are wrong, and I wouldn't mind some cooler weather. (But it has been lovely!)
