Pulling people out of the ditc...
anyone see this movie? I was a young lad when all this took place in the 70s, and though aware of Idi Amin, was not aware of the amount of his own people that he killed. Pretty shocking...

The young actor that played the Scottish doctor in the movie was Mr. Tumnus (sp?) in the Lion, Witch, Wardrobe films, and I had a hard time getting past that...

I saw the movie too. Even though I was a young adult in the 70s, I do not remember being aware of the shocking torture and murder he inflicted upon his own people. Shows you the difference in news coverage doesn't it.

Good Movie. Hotel Rawanda is another movie that shocked me. I wouldn't recommend watching them back to back.
