I am going to Kentucky for the gf's family reunion, so that should be interesting. Coming back on Tuesday.

County Fair, and I get to buy a pig at the auction for our bank cookout. Sounds like fun right? The good news is at the fair...there is heavy drinking!

After I get my hair "highlighted and cut" I'm planning on making a straight line for the pool in our condo complex and sitting there all day Saturday and Sunday - heat index in Chicago area to be 100 or better for a few days  We were going to the local county fair but no way am I going to rub elbows with the other hot, crabby people at an outdoors event in this heat  .

Teaching my son how to make beef jerky on Sat. and then Sun. headed to Houston for an all expenses paid by my employer trip to an Astros game.
Not crazy about the Astros, but its a baseball game and its free!
