has anyone seen the It's A Jersey Thing South Park episode?

The hype over this honestly turns my stomach. Who cares? Sure the family does and should - but is this national news? I saw one headline where it was above the passing of Neil Armstrong. Please.

(Sorry - off of my soapbox rant now. I just find this stuff totally over the top)

Anything about the Jersey Snookie makes me sick, if only because my dear ancient mother-in-law's lifelong nickname is Snookie.

So, what did Snookie do this time?

All I can think when I hear her name is Sookie from True Blood.

She had a baby on Sunday night. Her entire pregnancy has been getting crazy amounts of press- mostly I think because the world is shocked that she was able to remain out of nightclubs, bars and tanning salons for the last nine months .... That being said Congrats to her and her family - hopefully she (and her boyfriend)will grow up in an instant.

...confessed Jersey Shore addict, its a guilty pleasure. It does make your own life look a million times better on any given day LOL

Down the rabbit hole:

I thought "The Osbournes" gave us a glimpse into lives that we didn't need to see.

Then "The Simple Life" came on giving us Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie and reminded me that at least I used to rock-out to Black Sabbath in High School.

I thought THAT was bad until "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reminded me that at LEAST the Hilton family maintained a business that I occasionally use (Hampton Inn breakfast buffet anyone?)

Then Jersey Shore comes on and I think, well at least Robert Kardashian participated in SOMETHING noteworthy (OJ's trial).

And just when I think that the Jersey Shore has given us the lowest of the low, along comes Honey Boo Boo Child, and I just weep for our generation as well as those to come.

I really don't want to know what next is coming that will make Boo Boo look redeeming in any way.

Reading that, I had a flashback to the Loud family, although the only one whose name I could remember was Lance. The entire family disintegrated in one TV season.

I think I've seen where they are going to have a reality show with two girls who are siamese twins. Things keep getting lower and lower. I won't even click on anything that has Kim K's name on it. She's a star - pleeze.

Persons in wheelchairs don't take up a seat and they still pay.
