My husband and I have a standing agreement (initiated by me)... no flowers, no dinner date, etc... on February 14. Surprise me some other time of year... why be forced on a specific calendar day. We say Happy Valentines Day to each other, but that's as far as it goes.
Of course our wedding anniversary is February 19th, so we celebrate that day right around the corner :-)

Since my husband and I are temporarily living apart (counting down the days until his retirement on March 31st) we're going out to dinner on Friday; however I did send him some chocolate covered strawberries today from Edible Arrangements. Hopefully they're good.

Skittles... I sent those to my daughter for her birthday at the end of January and she said they were delicious. As a kudos to them, I thought about it on her birthday and they had same day service (for no additional charge) and got it to her work within a couple of hours. Very reasonably priced too, even including delivery charge!

My wife is hosting her book club tomorrow. So my gift is making dinner tonight so she can focus on making treats for the ladies. After dinner and dishes, I will give a second gift by cleaning the bathrooms and anything else she thinks should be cleaned. I can guarantee she will appreciate this much more than some flowers that will die in a couple days.

As you're in Okie, you may have access to Dublin Bottling sodas, they are awesome. Their Cherry Limeade is the best...but at 43 grams of sugar and 42 carbs per 12 ounce bottle, not great for anyone trying to reduce weight...you can also order online. Our local World Market carries them! http://www.dublinbottlingworks.com/
