What are the rights of a Guardian vs. the joint owner of an account? We just had a customer who has been appointed a Guardian who wants historical financial records on a joint account with another individual. Can we give the Guardian this documentation? If so, can we do this without notifying the other joint owner of the account? Court documents do not mention anything about obtaining historical documents. All checks in question have been signed by the customer who now has the guardian.
