I have a question about our bank website. We sometimes have school children visit our bank for a tour and we provide snacks and fun. We take pictures for our Scrapbooks. Our website coordinator asked about placing these pictures on the bank’s website. I am not at all comfortable doing that and feel like we would need the parent’s permission to do that. Are there any legalities concerning this and could you point me to them if there are? I just feel there are too many weirdo’s out there today to be putting pictures of our children on websites. Thanks!

If your website coordinator's judgment is that poor, you need to find a new one.

Our advertising and web policy addresses this by stating we require releases for any person's picture to place on our website or any marketing material. The release forms were drafted and approved for use by our Legal Dept. Get your legal department involved.
