I am new to our HMDA software. After importing first quarter data, I received errors on a few files for missing ethnicity, race and sex. After reviewing these files, the applicant had checked the "do not wish to furnish" box, so GMI was not completed. All the apps were mail, phone or internet.

Do we report all these files as 3/6/3? It's an easy fix, but I do have to establish some rules in my LOS for this situation.

Yes, the files must be coded 3/6/3. You cannot just leave the fields blank.
