I am currently working on creating an audit program for Savings Bonds, however an audit has never been conducted on Savings Bonds and I am having trouble coming up with procedures. Can anyone assist?

Come next year, you won't be selling savings bonds in the branches. You'll just be able to redeem them for customers. http://www.treasurydirect.gov/news/pressroom/pressroom_comotcend0711.htm
