FTA:[Alaska]has four different taxes on oil, which produce more than 89% of the state's unrestricted revenue.
And there is no personal income tax in Alaska. Just so no one misses the distortion in the piece about Alaska having the highest taxes per person.
It does pay to read these links.

Neither does NH, but our property taxes are ridiculous.

Wisconsin has both Income tax, and ridiculously high property taxes.

The left can write and reprint all the smear they want and their candidate is still going to lose. America is not going to give the car keys over to someone with a learner's permit in these dangerous times. It ain't gonna happen. Obama lacks the experience that builds the character and the courage necessary to lead us. The Dems blew it. The perfect storm hit the Reps and the Dems still blew it.
Of course, on the flip side, McCain is a RINO--maybe the Dems do sorta win when McCain does.)

And NJ not only has an income tax, and a 7% sales tax, but also the highest property taxes in the nation, and the highest auto insurance rates in the nation. We have a Democratic controlled legislature, and a Democratic governor, who also happens to be one of candidate Obama's financial advisors. Get ready to share our pain.

And that's exactly why I left the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. My car Ins. up there was $4,400/Year. Down here it's $900

that is the scariest thing Sinatra Fan have ever posted!!!
Texas does not have an income tax, we do have a high sales tax at 8.125%, but we have been getting reduced property taxes over the last 3 years with the state coffers flush with earl money...
but we are not getting the rebates Palin handed out in Alaska last year!!!!!

Ok Ron! I am here to say that you are right! I know, it's shocking isn't it? But, personally, I would rather have someone who supported something (Bridge to nowhere) then realized that it was a total waste of taxpayer's money and changed her mind about supporting it! Then someone who supported it, and continued to support it, even though it was a waste of taxpayer's money! (Anybody wanna guess who that was???)

Sales tax in most parts of Louisiana is between 8.75 and 9.25%, and we have a personal income tax on top of it...they even tax your refund from the IRS as "income."

Being from PA, we have taxes for everything: Personal Income Tax, Sales Tax, Real Estate Taxes (School and County), Real Estate Transfer Taxes, Occupational Privilege Taxes, Depending on your county- Occupational Assessment Taxes, Beer Taxes, Tobacco Taxes. So when our democrat gubner proposes more taxes or raising taxes we all know where the money is going: because Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

But, personally, I would rather have someone who supported something (Bridge to nowhere) then realized that it was a total waste of taxpayer's money and changed her mind about supporting it! Changed her mind about the bridge, but still spent the taxpayers' money, just on other projects.
