So far the only partners I have heard are Kim Johnson with Donnie Osmond, Maksim with Debi Mazur, Ashley Hamilton with Edyta, and Natalie Coughlin (swimmer) with Alec. (Source -- Access Hollywood homepage)

Ashley Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska
And didn't she dance with Ashley's dad, George, also?

For those of you who didn't like Chuck Wicks when he was on DWTS I just wanted to tell you that you were right. He performed at our local fair on Sunday night and from what I have heard he was quite arrogant and his show was awful. Everyone that was there said you couldn't understand a thing he said or sang. Maybe if Julianne had been with him things would have been better.

Julianne performed at our local fair and my co-worker said pretty much the same thing, couldn't understand a word she said. At least she is pretty to look at though...

You would think with professional sound systems they could at least get the sound right.
One of my co-worker's husband is on the Fair Board and they got to eat with the band but Chuck ate in the bus by himslef.

was just announced yesterday. I think you can read it on people.com.
I'm thinking that the 2 egos would not fit in one room together.

Or is it just publicity to fuel the ratings ........

Well, the new season starts tonight. It is always interesting to see how they do with their first dance. I see Tom DeLay had an injury already. And they are supposed to be doing a tribute to Patrick Swayze on Wednesday.

Back to Karina and Makesim, did anyone see them dance on last night's Emmy Awards?

From what I heard it wasn't that they had a big falling out it was just that their careers were getting in the way or were more important at this time.

So who watched last night? Tom Delay and Ashley Hamilton appear to be the worst male dancers. Donny Osmond did a great job.

Donny really did good. I was impressed, but not surprised. Aaron Carter was good, the little martial arts guy (?), and the snowboarder was good, but he wasn't great.
Tom DeLay - not so good, but definitely better than Ashley Hamilton. Hamilton was so stiff. Why was he in a wheel chair?
Michael Irwin wasn't that great either, but I'm thinking he will have a big fan base, whereas DeLay and Hamilton won't.

Donny was definitley the best but he knows how to perform for an audience. I like Aaron, the Chef guy, and the snowboarder also. Tom Delay wasn't as bad as I expected. I think Ashley will be the male going home. I missed the part about the wheelchair. What was that all about?

Alana Stewart doesn't look old enough to be Ashley's mom. She has held up to the ravages of time well.
