As I read about Balloon Payment Notices, I see that open-end credit is exempt from the requirement (CA Civil Code 2924i). We have historically sent a balloon payment notice 120 days prior to maturity on our HELOCs, but unless I'm missing something, this is not required. Is that right? Reg Z does not have a Balloon Payment Notice requirement that I can find. Thank you.
