I like to rub the turkey with Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning before frying. It's really good!

Has anyone ever made their dressing in a crockpot? I've seen recipes online but would like to hear from anyone who has had it this way before. This is my contribution to our work Thanksgiving meal....thought it would be more convenient this way since we don't have a stove at work.

We usually inject ours with Tony Chachere's and butter and I also rub it on the outside.

I like the butter, wine and chicken broth idea, too! Sounds yummy!

Has anyone ever done their candied sweet potatoes in a crockpot? Out turkey is always so big that it is difficult to get the casserole with the sweet potatoes in.

My in-laws did this last night. It tasted good, but we still make fun of the NuWave (all in good fun, they teased me about going brunette to help me understand blonde jokes!! smile )

My T-Day wasn't very good. It could have been but the twins were up all night so when I finally got to sleep I slept until they woke me up to eat. I hate eating right after I wake up. I have to be up for a little bit and get my bearing under me.
