Allendale, Michigan - just west of Grand Rapids.
The good news is, QB Cullen Finnerty is a freshman. Their only loss this season was partially due to him suffering a concussion and convincing the trainers (aka "faking them out") that he could play the 3rd quarter. He still doesn't remember the interception he tossed. (I think they're on to him now.)
The other good news is, they won with defense. And while it's way too soon to use the word 'dynasty', things are looking pretty bright for next season.

Does anyone know who won the Harlon Hill award in Div II this year?

North Alabama QB Hall named top Div. II player . University of North Alabama quarterback Will Hall was chosen as the nation's top Division II football player Friday night. Hall received the Harlon Hill trophy during a ceremony on the eve of the Division II national championship game in Florence between Grand Valley State and North Dakota. The award is the Division II equivalent of the Heisman Trophy. Hall was chosen over two other finalists -- St. Cloud State quarterback Keith Heckendorf and Nebraska-Omaha running back Justin Kammrad. Sorry to say I didn't know this first-hand, I just love to surf to see if I can find things. BTW, on ESPN2 tonight, North Texas State will be playing in the Louisianna Bowl.

It is the Division II version of the Heisman. Harlon Hill's story is interesting and sad--small school in Alabama--Rookie of the Year for Chicago Bears--Alcoholism ruins career!
