Get your requests ready--tomorrow the houseband "Band on the Run" will be playing cheesy songs from 1970s. I'll start the requests--this one goes out to CubDave: The Night Chicago Died

P.S. I'm outa here before the Manilow starts. See you Monday.

No takers on the duet and ....look at the time! I have a Management Accounting final in 2 hours....need to prepare a little. Thanks for the drinks, Mr. C. I'll sing for those present tomorrow. Then, as Johnny Lang would say, "Rack "em Up". Goodnight all.

Where the heart is
Please tell me that Cleabatsu's is an "Eagle Free" zone. If I hear either Hotel California or Life in the Fast Lane ... well... I can't be responsible for the consequences.

Okay, okay - it has to do with a very long road trip in the 70's and only one working cassette for the entire time....

AAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!

Gee, it's nice to be missed. Thanks. Family emergency caused me to leave the ol' gin mill early yesterday. However, in light of that wonderful list of 70's songs, Mr C, can you spark up "You Sexy Thing" for me?

And, since it's early, I'll just start with the delicious bloody mary that you make!

Oh, and for those who are interested, that teller at the party resigned from her position on Wed.

I believe in miracles... where'd you come from, you sexy thing?

Mr. C, you can join me anytime you want,pull up a seat! Tiny can tend bar, he can handle it. I've got a state safety and soundness exam going on right now so I need an escape! If we're starting this early Mr C, things could definitely get Coyote Ugle sooner rather than later, as long as there's no spilled olives on the bar!

8:00 in the morning, and look at you all. Dirty dancing, cavorting, drinking - you are becoming quite the "Breakfast Club" Let's see, Clint I will make you the Judd Nelson character (Bender), Mr. C can be Emilio Estevez (Andrew), Pam is Molly Ringwald (Claire), and Maria, you are definitely Ally Sheedy (Allison). Z can be Anthony Michael Hall (Brian) - I am going to be Mr. Vernon, and we are taking applications for Carl the janitor (Tiny?)

"You won't accept a guys tongue in your mouth and you're gonna eat that?"

{Ok - so I had a little Internet help remembering some character names and the quote form the movie!}
