Sorry, being another East Coaster, this is also where I bid you Good Evening!! (Mr. C walks off a little unsteady...leaves his keys smartly at the bar and asks Pam to share a cab outside)

Gee, I'm not sure I'm good enough to play two games at once. So, who wants to go first, Jeremy or Clint.

Tiny, I'll take another of those frozen margaritas I had earlier. I play so much better after a couple of drinks (or maybe I still play bad, but I just don't care as much )

"You tryin' to take my girl, mister?" he says unwittingly. "Oh, Clint, it's you. Uhhh, I'll take next", he says with his hat in his hand.

"Tiny, I really need a drink and how about a round at the pool table" "That was close", he mutters to himself after a long tip of the bottle of Mich.

Did you make anything? Do they have any decent cues? this one is warped pretty badly. At least it has a tip and isn't cracked. Nevermind, it'll do.

I can't make any of my shots. The pool table must be lopsided or something. Surely it's not my fault I keep missing.

Well, I made a couple, but since I knocked the 8 in before it's turn, you win. Another?

"So, how's the weather on your side of the state?" he asks sheepishly while thinking....solid, stripe, solid, stripe...eight ball in the middle, one on top.....here we go.

Sorry, I don't have time for another. Time for me to run home to my husband and kids. Thanks for the game and enjoy your weekend.

Looking up to notice that Angie, too, has left the place...breaks the rack, makes one of each and proceeds to run the table, solids first, the eight, then the stripes. After this accomplishment, he hangs up the slightly skewed bar-cue, grabs his jacket, throws up his hands and in the manner of George Costanza announces...."I'm outta here"....and walks home in the drizzle alone.

Geeze I take a week to travel and I miss singing and dancing and general drunkeness....wait that's usual here!

Mr. C...when you pull back into your position at the bar, pour me a long tall one (whatever that is...I love the phrase). It's been a LONG LONG LONG week.

(I'll be over here in the corner writing my goals for 2003...yes 2003, I forgot to finish them in February. Nice thing is...they're going to be much easier to accomplish now that I know what I did...heh heh)

Shooters, pllleeeezzzzeee.

Just did 2 days of HMDA training -- of my 28 loan officers, 7 couldn't make it to either session (they were in the bank, just didn't have time) GRRRRRRRRR!! Oh yea, 3 of the 7 are mortgage only lenders!!!!

Sorry for the vent, but this just drives me crazy.

"Calling Mr. C or Mr. Z!!!!!" .....Definitely need a strong drink today. Today we had to bury one of our security guards that has worked for the bank for 19 years, she died unexpectedly this weekend. Yes it is sad and we are all grieving, but the worst part is that the Pres & CEO did not even attend and the "Controller" dictated who could and could not attend....I am just disgusted with the people I work for today.

Lets just say that I will be working on my "New Years Resolution" that I spoke of in the other thread...

Bottoms up ladies! Someone got a joke? I could use a smile before the day is out.

Here's one ---

Two elderly WalMart greeters were sitting on a bench at the entryway when

one turns to the other and says, "Slim, I'm 73 years old now and I'm just

full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?"

Slim says, "I feel just like a new-born baby."

"Really, like a new-born baby?"

"Yep. No hair, no teeth and I think I just wet my pants."
