I'm going to be greedy and ask for prayers for 3 different family members:
1. My husband's aunt had a brain aneurysm last week. During surgery, it ruptured, but the surgeons were able to keep it under control, and deemed the surgery successful. She still has a long road to recovery, and they are monitoring the swelling in her brain very closely. She will need another surgery once the swelling subsides, and right now they are worrying about spasms in her brain blood vessels. All that said, she is doing very well right now considering! She is responding when asked to wiggle her toes and blink her eyes.
2. My grandpa was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has been told that chemo will help him feel better, but not help the cancer.
3. My step-dad's heart has gone out of rhythm. On Friday, they need to zap it back into rhythym (I think my mom said they actually stop the heart and re-start it). Hopefully it goes well and he can get it under control.
That's it. Thanks BOL friends! I appreciate any prayers (or positive thoughts if you prefer) for my family!

Thanks everyone! Updates:
Hubby's aunt is still stable, which is great. Swelling has been minimal and the spasms have decreased. She is resting well, and hasn't needed a lot of pain meds.
Not much to report on my grandpa. He hasn't decided if he's going to do chemo or not.
My step-dad's procedure went well. His heart is back in rhythm. Now he just needs to behave himself for a while and not overdo it so it doesn't happen again.
Thanks again for the prayers everyone. It was a rough couple of weeks for us.

Update: Well, we got good news last week about my Grandpa. They have this drug that they thought could slow down or even shrink the cancer, he was supposed to start the chemo today. However, he was admitted to the hospital last night with breathing issues. Beginning of pneumonia. They also thought he had a blockage in his liver. This morning the doctors said his kidneys are shutting down. He's too weak for dialysis, and there is nothing more they can do for him, except try to help him manage the pain. We could really use some extra prayers.
Thanks.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers. My grandpa passed away early Saturday morning. He was surrounded by his family and seemed to go peacefully.
On the good side: My husband's aunt is making improvements every day. She has been transferred from the ICU to a rehab hospital. They have her sitting up, and she even shuffled a few steps the other day.
Thanks again everyone.
