My son and I are on a Trans Siberian Orchestra kick right now and have that blaring in the car. He was saying how much he hates Christmas music, but he was rockin' out to it this morning and I even saw a little air drum and air guitar going on in the seat next to me, so it must not be all bad!

Listened to XM radio's old time Christmas station on the way home from Georgia on Saturday. Great songs, but I'm Christmas songed out now.

Which station is that on Skittles?

I take out a CD of Ray Coniff singers' Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving. Noever before. (Yup, I'm over 29). This is one of my Christmas traditions. It brings back memories of childhood. I love the songs and the update arrangements. Some songs I never hear except for appearing on the CD. I actually have my parents vinyl. Played to death but I keep it anyways.

Can't stand hearing it in October and early November. I prefer the old classics but I like Mariah C.'s versions and some others. Even a couplefunny ones work.

JEALOUS!!! That's one of those "bucket list" things for me. I would love to see them in concert. I keep telling my son that one of these Christmas seasons we will go. We'd have to drive three hours to get there, but I think it would be worth it!

I have a "Holiday Music" playlist set up on my iTunes. FYI, Amazon has a bunch of holiday music samplers for free that you can download. They import into iTunes seamlessly.

<<<voted for DQ's hairbrush.

Some of the radio stations and stores just overdo it to the point where I never want to hear those songs again.

I prefer the "unconventional" Christmas music like Gary Hoey, Brian Setzer and Trans-Siberia Orchestra. I guess I got burned out on "traditional" Christmas music having to perform it every year in grade school for our annual Christmas show.

Don't mind listening to the music- but probably would rather watch Christmas movies. Still looking for The Grinch.

It was on ABC last night, followed by the Shrek Christmas special. smile

But it wasn't the Grinch movie, just the regular animated one.
