We have an appraisal that includes photos of the subject property and our borrower is included in the photos. The same appraisal makes a location reference "close to churches".

Is inclusion of a borrower in the subject photo OR reference to being close to churches in any way a Fair Lending violation or other Appraisal violation? We recognize that neither of these two items is a recommended practice and none of our other loans in the past years has contained this info. This is truly an isolated case but we are concerned it could be viewed unfavorably.

Any comments or guidance is appreciated.

Regards,
