If we fulfill a subpoena request, submit our request for reimbursement (basically that file has been "closed" by us)and more information is requested pertaining to the same individuals a few weeks later, do we have to require a new subpoena? I don't see actual expiration dates??

How can there be more information. Did the subpeona not specifically identify the information you were to provide and did you not provide all of it? If they are asking for information not outlined in the original subpoena, you need a new one.

Ones I have dealt with recently have "*" in front of documents they want by a certain date with a statement they will contact when/if they want the rest.

In that case I don't think another subpeona is required to request additional information at a later date.

In general, if the subpoena asked you for "X" and you delivered "X," you're done. If now they are asking for "Y," you need a new subpoena.

Unless you find an Iowa attorney among your respondents, I suggest you ask someone who is for an answer for your question.

What Policy do Subpoenas fall under? i.e., how to handle; who should handle, etc. I am completely blank on this one.
Thank you for your help.
