My mom called this morning, and a biopsy is scheduled for next Wednesday. The good news (Great news) is that the PSA levels were most likely caused by Prostate Cancer and they are catching it very early or simply by an enlarged prostate. We'll know more in the next couple weeks, but it does appear that Denny should skate through this even more easily than his Cardiomyopathy. Thanks again for all your thoughts, prayers and optimism.

My uncle went through treatment for prostate cancer after they had discovered it in the early stages. Treatment was very successful and you could never tell that he was even sick! Prayers heading your way!

Great news! Cancer is a hellish thing. I've been battling it for 3 years now, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

How is it going, FBH? My baby brother went through surgery and 6 months of chemo for colon cancer this year and is struggling. I am battling - that's all I can say. The first line chemo has stopped working, and it's metastacized, so that's not good news. I'm on the last line of chemo drugs and it's hitting me hard. I feel like I'm getting better, but it's hard to tell - the chemo effects are brutal. The weekends I get treatment are the worst, but I'm pretty tired in general all the time now. It's a weird feeling - I've always had a lot of energy, and I feel sapped. If this line of treatment doesn't work, the doctor's say it'll kill me within 2-3 years. I didn't expect to be going out at 45, so I hope they're wrong. We'll see. Despite being tired, I have fight left in me, and I've still been able to work full time, so who knows how it'll turn out? I just keep battling...
