I don't recall mentioning Paula or Nicole. Perhaps you should re-read what I DID say rather than making things up.

Melanie killed it last night. I thought she sounded better than the original. Melanie is like Barbra/Celine/Mariah and Josh and Chris are like lounge singers at the airport Marriott.

I had the distinct impression that L.A. deliberately set up Marcus to lose so that Chris would have a better chance of going into the finals.

just my opinion

Someone is looking for a pummeling. And how come your post is 13 minutes before mine? You knew what I was going to say? Scary!

Marcus second song was like a bad disco version of a good rock song.

Melanie's first song was ok, but her second blew me away.

I was underwhelmed with all of them last night. I enjoyed Josh singing "Hallelujah," but I almost always like that song. smile

Chris Rene is annoying with his 'uh, uh' in every song he sings.

Melanie will win

I had it on but wasn't really paying attention. I like Josh. Melanie will probably win due to teenage voters.

Chris Rene will not win. Sure, he'll make a record. He might even make two. I'd put the chances of him ending up back in rehab higher than a second successful album.

Josh has a lot of potential, as does Melanie. I think Josh is more radio ready for popular music, while Melanie is more ready for easy listening and adult contemporary.

If I had to call it, I would say that Melanie won it last night.

Did not care for Josh's performance last night. I like Chris, but not enough to really want him to win. And it's not my type of music anyway. I missed Melanie's first song but the second one was really good. I guess she should win. My bottom line - I was rather underwhelmed last night.

And that Michael Jackson thing they did was really awful.

It didn't matter what the three sang last night. Fans already made up their minds on who they would vote for in the final.

I wish them all the best of luck- I believe the other two will be picked up by someone.

I hope I see some Krajcik Magic tonite - I want him to win. But I am not worried about him if he doesn't.

I doubt Chris made much noise with votes - I'm sure he got some but a world away from Josh and Melanie. I hope down the road he can keep clean- 8 mos out of rehab- good for him- but that's not even close to being out of the woods.

It's been a ride- I'm glad it's over tonite.

I usually don't want shows like that, let alone fan voting stuff. I hate the fighting between the judges.

Oh and I agree with Cali- the Michael Jackson whatever you call it was totally assine.

No big surprise last night with Melanie's win, although I think she is deserving, any of the three of them could have won and I would have been happy with the choice.
I was really glad they acknowledged Christmas, liked the carols by everyone more than the regular songs.

I really liked the carols. Of course Bieber and Drew was as funny as anything I've seen on TV lately (Except Big Bang Theory)!

Josh's Christmas song was the best he sang on the entire show.

And did I really see the Bieber grab his crotch while singing about Santa coming to town? :yuck: Where's the mind bleach?
