YAYAYAY!! It's Back!

I never thought of myself as much of a dancing Guru- But I LOVE this show. Season premier last night, and I went out and bought an antenna so I could get Fox so I could watch this and Big Bang Theory. smile

We had the New York and Dallas Auditions last night- What did you guys think of the "Horror Hip Hop" guys?

I liked the "exorcist" guy.

The one I really loved was the 29 year old mom! She was really good, and then when they let her little daughter dance I laughed..... it was too cute!

Anyone else worried about the new one day a week format where someone goes home the same night they perform their routines?

We watched the NYC auditions last night & will watch the TX ones tonight.

I *loved* the guy who did the 9/11 soul dance. He was AMAZING and I am hoping he will be able to pick up choreography and partner dancing - guess we will see when they do the Vegas show!

Love this show. My favs so far are the exorcist and zombie hip hop guys, the mom, the Aussie ballet dancer, and the swiss guy. I hope they all make it through Vegas, as they would all make it a great season.

The guy that looked like he was swimming in the ocean / swatting a swarm of bees was kind of hilarious! I'm glad the judges were nice to him when they let him down.

I can't believe I missed it. I hope it's on Demand. Looking forward to finding out what "The Exorcist" means exactly.

And I really liked that Japanese guy with the red hair. He was awesome! I wish he could have caught on the choreography. Much respect to him for realizing his own limits and taking himself out. Hope he comes back next year.

Yay! I am so happy it's back on. I hadn't heard abotu the format change but I do liek that it will be once a week instead of twice...hate to waste two ngihts on the tv.

I loved the two guys who do ballet (the Swiss guy and the Aussie). And between the two horror guys, I liekd the zombie better...man, he was so fluid! I actually thought the Exorcist one was boring--I was really hoping for a cool act that pulled more from horror movies. But looks liek I'll be able to see him dance again since he made it to Vegas and I am still intrigued to see what else he'll do in his style.

The little two year old was SO CUTE! And seriously, so good for her age. But then, monley see monkey do at that age, and I'm sure she watches mommy a lot smile

I had no idea it was on, but was thrilled to see that it was taped last night when I got home!

I know what I'm doing tonight. (I have a hot date with unfolded laundry, a glass of wine, and the DVR...)

No, the second one was the exorcist guy...took his heart out at the end and staked it and then laid there convulsing.

REALLY hope the DVR taped this. How is the one day format going to work? Is the public still getting a vote or is it up to the judges for now?

LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!

I watched most of it. Meh. I'd rather watch Columbo reruns on Netflix. Much more interesting.

Yea, That's the guy. I thought that plus the song he chose to go with it were pretty awesome. I never would have thought you could pop and lock to evenescence, but he made it work. I really enjoyed it.

From what I understand about the elimination setup, nobody goes home the first week, public votes, next week, the people in danger are told before they all dance that they are in danger. Everyone dances, and at the end, the judges eliminate the guy and girl who fail, and then public votes for the remaining contestants, and we follow that procedure until the top 10 dancers are paired with all-stars.

Have I mentioned that I really don't like the all-stars? I mean I like watching them dance, but I think it takes away from the current dancers.
