Living in the land of Oz
My husband and I went to Cedar Point
Amusement Park with my son and his family last Saturday. Whil walking throught the park I tripped and fell and landed on my 6 year old grandson. My first thought was that I had seriously injured him but he jumped up crying with just a few scrapes. I, on the otherhand, was not so lucky. When I tried to stand I found that I had broken my kneecap completely in half. After being taken to a local hospital I was transported to our local hospital where I had surgery on Monday. All is going well, but I am looking at months of recuperation and rehab. We are going to the ocean in two weeks and the doctor has given me permission to go but it is not going to be the fun trip I was anticipating. So please pray for me as I heal and thank God that my grandson was not hurt.

Praying for a complete, and quick recovery.

I hope you came up with one whopper of a story to tell me about your injury. I know I would. smile

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
That's terrible! Hope all goes well with your recovery - but look at the beach trip this way - you get to sit on the deck and let everyone wait on you for a change!

Oh, RtoR, how awful. I am praying for quick healing and a pleasant vacation, despite the circumstances. As walden pointed out, it's time for others to wait on you hand and foot! smile

Prayers of course, and you did a good job of protecting the grandson, probably at the cost of the kneecap. Well done on that.
Speedy recovery to you!!

Hang in there. Sending prayers that it won't be so bad that you can't handle it!

They don't intentionally try to make you hurt in PT, but I was grateful for my pain pills smile
