Is there an ECOA problem for lenders to distribute religious materials to loan applicants?

Why would you allow this? I would think the board, which probably has mixed religious beliefs, would not want an employee pushing thier religion on potential customers. just saying...

Agree...and could be preceived as discrimination against every other type of religion.
Religion and politics do not belong inside the bank, in my honest opinion.

Yes, it is a problem. If the borrower isn't of the religion be touted, it could be assumed the borrower may feel unwelcome to proceed.
