A power of attorney on an account wants a debit card in the accountholders name. Our cards are limited to one line so there can't be the accountholders name as well as the POA's name. Would other banks allow this?

Why would the POA's name be on the card?

I assume by your "answer" it should be in the name of the account owner and they will just sign the transaction receipts with their name as POA. I thought they might have a problem that the signature doesn't match the name on the card and just wondered what the normal way of setting these up are.

I have not been asked by a merchant to see my card in years. In fact, it is not even signed.
